I most often paint the places that I've been and this is a very familiar scene to me.  I was brought up snowmobiling.  My father towed around myself and my four sisters in a sleigh we called a 'pung'.  It was what we did and where we spent our time.  I still remember walking through the deep snow in big boots and more clothes on than we knew what to do with once we got to the camp and had to lay them out to dry. I hope this painting brings back memories for you too; in the Back Country of your communities.
