a Sense of Summer, naturally green with strong yellow undertones feel very earthy and grounded.  Layering the scene with other colors that pull at the light with splashes of vibrant hues for a little impact.  Action painting; splashing and dribbling paint on the canvas - a technique that goes way back.  Using staining to stimulate the creative imaginary from memory and relying on color theory to hold it together.  A challenge and a delight.
