Creativity moves in spurts, bursts, spirals and even has droughts. It is part of the journey to creating artwork. The accurate mapping of our own creative interests invites the term 'original'. Originality is the process of remaining true to ourselves. If you've followed me for awhile you will notice my inquisitive nature; trying something different can be exciting; it renews my enthusiasm.

I start each day; writing and often reading; just a little.  Reading just enough to get my mind thinking, a path, a rabbit hole some may say.  I am a thinker.  I enjoy building on new ideas.  I often want to share them so it comes out in my weekly art classes.  We are 7 weeks into our 12 week semester.  Last week I negative painted tulips.  It was a fun creative start to a painting.  Having fun is still important.
