Sheila Schaetzle's 'Colors Beyond Birchwood' Art Exhibition
Swirl Fine Art and Design and Sheila Schaetzle present a new series of artwork ‘ Colors beyond Birchwood’ Opens Thursday August 5, 2011.
The series of Birchwood reflect on Sheila’s journey in art; as Birchwood were one of the first subjects she painted using a reference photograph taken by her Mother of a location behind her High School in New Brunswick. The photograph was one of many her father sent her after her mothers passing and when her sisters encouraged her to start painting again in 1999; those photographs became the reference material to much of her early work.
